RUI Members
According to the provisions of the law, in order to carry out their activity, those registered in the Single Register of Intermediaries (RUI) are required to take out insurance with a professional liability policy.
Assigeco proposes a cover that compensates the insured within the limits of the ceiling established for what he/she is required to pay (capital, interest and expenses) as a civil liability for financial losses involuntarily caused to third parties as a result of events resulting from professional activity.
Professional activity described in the SHEET OF COVERAGE performed in accordance with the terms of Article 106 of Legislative Decree No. 209 of 7 September 2005, which reorganizes the provisions on private insurance, other laws governing it, the rules issued and emanating from IVASS (in particular circulars No. 553 and 551 and Regulation No. 5 of 16 October 2006), by other Authorities and by the principal company.
The compensation is paid as compensation for financial losses involuntarily caused to third parties, including customers.
The guarantee is subject to the condition that claims for compensation arise from culpable behaviour by the insured person, his staff or persons for whom the insured person is liable. Including individuals and companies listed in section E (including sub-agents) used by the insured and their employees, contractors and other persons whose actions are legally liable.
